Kevin Kelly founded App-X in 2006. He brings a unique mix of technical
acumen, business development skills, creativity and energy to App-X. He
is responsible for leading the company's sales efforts and developing
strategic partnerships. Kevin has served in a CIO
advisory role to a Chicago-based Buyout Fund of Funds with nearly $1B
under management. He has also worked in various technical sales,
business development and management roles in small startups and leading
technology firms such as Cisco Systems and NEC Unified Solutions. He is
actively involved in Colorado's entrepreneurial communities.
In
his free time, Kevin enjoys hiking, skiing and fishing the Rocky
Mountains with his wife and 3 young children and playing and coaching
ice hockey.
Joe McVicker drives technology strategy at App-X. He has been building collaboration and workflow solutions since 1986 for a wide range of companies including Frito-Lay, the United Nations, Lipper Analytical, Aircast, Global Minds, Inter-Mold and others.
Joe first became interested in Private Equity when he participated in the sale of Aircast to Tailwind Capital in 2004.
Prior to joining App-X, Joe was a founder and CTO for GroveSite, a Software as a Service web collaboration company based in Phoenix, AZ. He was also the original architect of the GroveSite platform now used around the world for easy cross-company web collaboration.
